Article III - Prize Payout Structure

Our league awards cash prizes to the top 5 teams and total season most points for. We also award a weekly cash prize to the team with the highest score during each week of the fantasy football regular season. The payout structure is designed to reward the winner, but also to encourage all teams to continue competing throughout the season.

Payout Structure
•    1st Place: $300.00 with 12 teams (50%)
•    2nd Place: $100.00 with 12 teams (~16%)
•    3rd Place: $40.00 with 12 teams (~6%)
•    4th Place: $30.00 with 12 teams (5%)
•    5th Place (Consolidation Bracket Winner): $20 with 12 teams (~3%)
•    Season Long (Weeks 1-17) Most Points For - $40 (~6%)
•    Regular Season Weekly High Score $5.00 per week, 14 weeks (~1%)

The dollar amounts above shall be considered the actual payout amounts pending verification of payment from all owners.  In addition to the total cash payout for each prize, the exact percentage of the total prize pot is indicated and will be considered if all entry fees are not collected.

Cash prizes are awarded at the end of the season. A list of the teams who qualified for a cash prize along with the amount of the cash prize will be posted to the League site within one (1) week after the end of the season.

The Commissioner should be notified if there is an error with the cash prize list or amounts.

Article IV - Late Payments

Any weekly prize winnings accrued by a team who hasn't paid their league entry fee (by the time the weekly prize is won) will be forfeited and added to the Champion's prize payout.

If a team has not paid their entry fee by the end of week 6 of the regular season, their team will be locked until payment is received.

If a team has not paid their entry fee by the time the first playoff game is played, they will be expelled immediately. The commissioner has no discretion for providing a grace period and neither does the league. The commissioner will take over managing the delinquent team for the purposes of the championship/loser brackets.

Article V - Playoff Configuration

Championship Playoff Weeks
The Championship playoffs will be weeks 15-17 of the NFL regular season.

Championship Bracket
The league will implement a 6-team Championship playoff system. Qualification for the Championship playoff bracket will be determined by:  Top 2 in each division

Seeding for the Championship bracket will be based on Points For total.

Tiebreakers

Division Winner

1.    If there is a tie with overall record, then the team with the better head-to-head record between the tying teams will earn the Championship playoff spot.
2.    If there is still a tie, the team with the Most Points For will earn the Championship playoff spot.
3.    If there is a tie on Most Points For, then the team with the best overall division record wins the division.
4.    If still tied, the commissioner will flip a coin.

* Tie breaker changed per league vote in 2018. 1st tie breaker will be head-to-head between tying teams. 2nd tie breaker is Most Points For.

This league will also implement a 6-team Consolidation playoff bracket. The winner of the Consolidation Bracket will qualify for the 5th Place prize. Seeding for the Consolidation playoff will be determined by:

2.    Seeding is based on same rules as Championship.

The Biggest Loser has to sit on the Crapper Bucket during next year’s live draft.

Article VI - Draft Order Determination

The inaugural year draft positions will be determined randomly.

Each year thereafter, the draft position for each fantasy team will be determined based on the finishing position results from the previous year. Each league member gets to select their draft position based on the remaining draft positions available. Each league member will send the Commissioner their draft position rankings from 1 to 12 no later than 2 weeks before the draft. The Commissioner will determine the draft order based on each League members rankings based on their selection rank. If no draft position rankings have been received for a League member, then their draft position rankings will default to 1 through 12, ascending.

•    12th place finisher gets 1st draft position selection.
•    11th place finisher gets 2nd draft position selection.
•    10th place finisher gets 3rd draft position selection.
•    9th place finisher gets 4th draft position selection.
•    8th place finisher gets 5th draft position selection.
•    7th place finisher gets 6th draft position selection.
•    6th place finisher gets 7th draft position selection.
•    5th place finisher gets 8th draft position selection.
•    4th place finisher gets 9th draft position selection.
•    3rd place finisher gets 10th draft position selection.
•    2nd place finisher gets 11th draft position selection.
•    1st place finisher gets last available draft position.

Example:

•    11th place finisher ranking: 6, 7, 8, 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, 3, 2, 1

Any new teams which join the league will be slotted based on the finishing position of the team they taking over.

Article VII - Trades

For a trade to be granted in a given week, it must be accepted THROUGH OUR HOSTING SERVICE (NFL.COM) no later than 48 hours before game time.  This gives all teams 48 hours to review the trade before the games begin (whether on Thursday, Saturday or Sunday).  Any trades that are submitted through the website within 48 hours of gametime will be voided and will have to be re-submitted and accepted after the MNF game to be reconsidered.  Players who have already played on a given week cannot be traded until the following week.

Once accepted through the hosting service, a trade cannot be withdrawn by one party due to player injury, suspension, or any other unforeseen circumstance.  The only way a trade can be voided is if it is withdrawn by both parties before the trade is accepted.

During the 48 hour trade approval period, all owners (except those involved in the trade) will be given the opportunity to veto the trade.

There are only 2 valid reasons which a trade should be vetoed:

1.    If the players involved in the trade are not of comparable value.  Value must take into consideration the positions involved (QB, RB, WR, etc) and the specific needs of each team.
2.    If both teams aren't improved by the trade.

If a majority of the votes cast are against the trade the trade will not be granted. A tie will result in the trade being granted

Article VIII - New Rule Creation

When a league dispute arises which has not been addressed in the league constitution, a discussion will ensue on possible resolutions. Following the discussion period, the commissioner will create an online poll so that owners can vote on an appropriate course of action. The result of the poll will apply to future seasons and the resulting ruling will be appended to the existing constitution for future reference.

All poll outcomes will be determined based on a plurality and in the case of a tie the commissioner will use his infinite wisdom to cast the deciding vote.  When possible polls will run for 7 days. In season changes to the rules will not be allowed. All rule changes would not apply until the next season.

Article IX- Roster Inactives aka The Gary Rule

All teams must have a complete starting lineup with no players inactive or on bye.

If an owner has a roster slot open (either due to bye week or simple oversight), but has a backup player (not on bye or IA/OUT) available on their bench, then the Commissioner must insert the available player in the open roster slot. If two eligible bench players exist then the player with the highest average projected point output for that week should be inserted.

In the event of a late IA, the league voted to have a list of emergency players who can be swapped after the games have started. The list of emergency players MUST be submitted to the league chat BEFORE the Thursday Night Football game starts. Each team may select 1 player for each position to be the designated emergency player. If the flex player is a late IA, the emergency player for the same position will be swapped in.

Article X – Roster Positions and Limits

Per league vote, the following roster position limits will be set via League Settings:

2 Quarterbacks maximum
5 Running Backs maximum
5 Wide Receivers maximum
3 Tight Ends maximum
2 Placekickers maximum
2 Defense/Special Teams maximum

Article XI – Keepers

Each year, you may keep one (1) player as your 15th round pick. The player may be kept for one (1) year.
