Week 4

My fellow Leaguemates, I am pleased to report that the State of the League remains good. It would be better if Gary would pay his League dues. It's always something with Gary, our special member.

My jinx powers are still in effect. All it took for Steve to get beaten was for me to rank him #1. It looks like the clock may have run out on Mostert with the emergence of Achane the Man. Not even Nacua could save him this week. There's no shame in losing to the high scorer of the week. Jordan and Steve remain the teams to beat dominating the high scores so far this year.

Once again, Jordan has a dominant team. Could he finally break through and win the Championship? He's been close multiple times. It's still early so there is plenty of time for his team to fade at the end. The 49ers are going to run CMC until the wheels fall off. I just hope that is before the fantasy playoffs start.

Dana continues to get pounded by the schedule. She posted a respectable 133.08 points which wasn't even close to beating Justin's second-highest score this week. It's hard to keep Justin down. After an anemic start, his team is finding its footing. The King is dead, they said. Long live the King as Henry posted over 100 yards, a rushing TD, and a passing TD. The squeaky wheel gets the grease or the whiny primadonna gets the ball as AJ Brown bitched his way to hogging all the targets, TDs, and points.

David doubled up Linda as she once again vied for the Poopsie award. Her new nickname is going to be Single Lady cause her players only put up single-digit points. If it wasn't for getting lucky picking up Kyreen, she would be threatening Travis's Hall of Shame record for the lowest weekly score. May we never forget. All David needed to beat Linda was to start his Bills super stack.

Another team that continues to struggle is Ashlyn. Her running backs are putrid. She is going to need a favor from the Fantasy Gods to find another option on the waiver wire. It's pretty bare, but she has the #1 waiver priority so she can take the flyer on McLaughlin and hope he relegates Perine to the bench. Football moves fast and Perine just hasn't been getting it done. Jaleel sounds like a Kryptonian character. Ashlyn will need him to turn into Superman if she hopes to avoid the Crapper. She has tough competition with Linda.

Finally, Gary upset Paul. Hated to see it. Maybe now that Gary has won another game, he will pay his League dues. Not like I don't offer excellent service reminding him of the League rules to start a full lineup. The Chargers DST he grabbed at the last minute was one of his best performers. You're welcome, Gary.

Until next week, may the odds be ever in your favor.
