Caesar (Gary): Welcome, welcome, welcome to Week 4 of the 9th Annual BBB Games. This week, we have a very special matchup between two teams who have combined for all three high scores this season. That's right. Steve and Jordan face off to see who will emerge as the early favorite for the BBB Belt.
Claudius (Paul): They suck!
Caesar (Gary): Now, now Paulie. Do I sense a little bitterness still from your beat down by the Commissioner?
Claudius (Paul): He sucks, too!
Caesar (Gary): I think we can all agree with that. We have a new leader in the Power Rankings. Steve vaults to the top spot after his second high score of the season. Once is a fluke. Twice is a coincidence. Three times is a trend. Steve's team has won two high scores and finished 2nd in the other matchup. It is the best start he's had in the BBB League.
Claudius (Paul): Not even the Commissioner's jinx powers are working on him this year.
Power Rankings:
Steve (+4)
Jordan (-1)
Commissioner (-1)
Paul (-1)
Dana
David
Tracy (+1)
Ashlyn (+1)
Justin (-2)
Gary (+1)
Travis (-1)
Linda
Caesar (Gary): Once again, Steve is projected for the most points and Jordan is projected for the 3rd most points. Miami is going to be in another shootout vs. the Bills so Mostert and Tyreek will feast again. The Commissioner should not have talked so much trash over the Cousins's pick. He is the #1 QB in fantasy through Week 3. Jordan counters with a lethal trio of RBs in CMC, Moss, and Kamara. This may be Moss's last week to lead the Colts backfield. All eyes will be on Taylor to see what his decision will be whether he is ready to play or not.
Claudius (Paul): Lord help us if the Commissioner gets a healthy Taylor to add to Pollard. Walker, and Cook.
Caesar (Gary): No one wants to see that happen. While the NFL projections have Steve winning, they've been horrible this year. This week, Steve goes down. In contrast to the game of the week, the Commissioner faces off with Travis. It's a matchup of opposites. The Commissioner's team has increased its scoring each week but has yet to win a coveted high score. Still, he is 2nd in total points. He faces Travis' 0-3 team, who would be ranked dead last if not for Linda's hopeless team. This game looks like a blowout win for the Commissioner, but fantasy is a fickle game. We all would love to see the Commissioner get humbled by the lowly Hayz Blaze team.
Claudius (Paul): I sure would.
Caesar (Gary): Speaking of Linda, she faces David. The schedule has not been kind to him. He has had the second points scored against him so far this season. Only Dana has had more. We'll get to her matchup later. He took a gamble trading for an injured Saquon, so his RB group is pretty weak until Saquon can return. But his Allen/Diggs stack will need to keep up with the Dolphins high octane offense so points will be flying which isn't good for his Bills Defense. Linda doesn't have that issue with the Chiefs DST facing Zach "Zero Talent" Wilson. If Aaron Jones returns, David will find himself on the losing end against the weakest team in the League. Just kidding.
Claudius (Paul): What about my matchup?
Caesar (Gary): Eff off Paul. You know you are going to kick the crap out of me this week.
Claudius (Paul): I know. Not even Mahomes can save your sorry team.
Caesar (Gary): Let's move on. Dana has had the worst scheduling luck having the most points scored against her. No one hates to lose more than the Pink Lady, but she's lost two heartbreakers in a row. In Week 2 she faced Linda who normally can't break 100 points much less 142.38 she scored against Dana. Then last week she faced Steve and lost scoring over 160 points.
Claudius (Paul): Fantasy isn't fair.
Caesar (Gary): No it is not. This week she faces the 3x BBB Champion who is primed to get his first win of the season. You can't hold Justin down forever, but we think he will have to wait another week to try to get his first win. We'll see if he has the courage to bench Henry for Achane for the upside play. He needs all the upside he can get.
Claudius (Paul): I don't.
Caesar (Gary): I know, Paul. I know. In our final matchup of the week, our reigning champion has fallen on hard times. She got lucky last week, squeaking out a win with the 2nd lowest points scored. She'll have to do much better against Tracy. We foresee a long season for her with the putrid smell of her running backs. Only the matchups can save her. Conner faces the 49ers so Tracy will find it hard to find a lot of points in that matchup. He's stuck with Conner because his RBs aren't much better than Ashlyn's. It's going to be close, but the edge goes to Tracy with Herbert's facing the Raiders DST. Tracy will be conflicted every time his Raiders team gives up another TD to Herbert on their way to demolishing the Raiders.
Claudius (Paul): Raiders suck!
Caesar (Gary): Indeed. That's it for this edition. May the odds be ever in your favor.
Claudius (Paul): Bye, bye.
