James (2-1) vs. Paul (1-2)

Projected Winner: Paul

Actual Winner: Paul

My waiver pickups were elite. Unfortunately, I wasn't bold enough to start them. It cost me the win and 50+ points on my bench. Ouch! I forgot that Jennings did well in the playoffs and that the Rams got torched through the air. I should have known this since my QB torched them last week. One thing is for sure. If there is a lineup decision to be made, I will make the wrong choice. On the bright side, Dionte looks resurrected from the dead with the Red Rifle at QB. Hopefully, that will pay off in the long term. Juaun was a short-term rental until Deebo and/or Kittle returns, which makes it even more egregious that I didn't use him this week. Beards is always competitive, so losing this matchup could haunt me later in the season.

Justin (3-1) vs. Jordan (0-3)

Projected Winner: Justin

Actual Winner: Justin

You can't keep the 3x champ down for long. This week, he roared back with a high weekly score. I may have reverse-jinxed Henry, who had a monster game. He is now neck-in-neck with Achane in points this season. It looked like Pee-man would get his first win, but then the Dallas offense decided to show up in the second half in a comeback loss. Everyone was scrambling to see which KC RB to pickup. The answer was none of them. It was the Rashee Rice show. With Prescott, Henry, and Rice all posting 30+, Justin overcame a strong performance by Jordan's team. It's tragic.

Steve (0-3) vs. Gary (1-2)

Projected Winner: Gary

Actual Winner: Gary

I'm three for three so far in my predictions. This one didn't take a crystal ball to see. Injuries have decimated Steve's team. Miami is on their third-string quarterback, which makes Tyreek virtually dead. We've seen 0-4 teams make the playoffs in the BBB, so there is still hope. It's an uphill battle for sure, but I know there is no quit in my brother.

Gary beats up a crippled team to get his first win. They will be few. But, as long as the Chiefs keep winning, Gary will be happy. We like Gary happy. Clowns are meant to be happy.

David (2-1) vs. Linda (3-0)

Projected Winner: Linda

Actual Winner: Linda

The reigning champ is off to a strong start. With both Kupp and Pucau out, it's all Kyren for the Rams—literally. He had a monster week with three touchdowns. All I could do was watch what should have been KW3 points go to Charboneet. Hopefully, KW3 will be back soon, but not too soon. I need him for the long run. The tides have turned with Achane. Defenses no longer have to respect the pass in Miami, so the box is getting crowded. Unlike me, Linda made a good move, picking up Strange and starting him. 9.20 points doesn't sound like much, but at the TE position, it is gold.

Nick (2-1) vs. Ashlyn (0-3)

Projected Winner: Nick

Actual Winner: Nick

Ashlyn says CMC is on the trading block. She needs an RB she can start. Like most CMC owners this year, she is in a world of hurt. Nick's team is trash, but he got the free square this week. Better days could be ahead if the Jayden Daniels we saw on Monday Night were his coming out party. That would make McLaurin a nice, consistent WR2 play each week. We shall see. It was nice seeing Kingsbury's college offense light up the Bungles, though.

Cory (3-0) vs. Travis (1-2)

Projected Winner: Cory

Actual Winner: Cory

I was a perfect 6-0 on projections this week. Unfortunately, that means Cory won...again. He is getting annoying, and the worst part is that he has a good team. With AJ Brown out, Goedert went into god mode. With Davonte out with a concussion, it could be the Goedert show again next week. Barkley is a beast and will continue to feast behind the Eagles' O line. Cory's bench is mighty thin, so one key injury to Barkley and this house of cards will fall. Speaking of falling, what has happened to Mark Andrews?
