The waiver wire is bare and filled with nothing but despair. TE is abysmal, as usual. David is looking at the long game, picking up Engram after the hammy injury. He must be patient, which is hard to do in fantasy football. I was sweating getting Braelon on my team. The rate I am losing players to injury, I had to get Breece's backup or I would be DOA if Breece got injured. As soon as I drop Dionte, Carolina benches Bryce, so I had to burn a waiver to pick him back up to see if he can do anything with the Red Rifle at QB. Not counting on it. Justin is quietly building a solid lineup, as usual. Quentin was a sneaky good pickup even if the volume of the Chargers passing game is miniscule.

James vs. Paul
All the projects say I should win this matchup, but it's a TRAP! Ja'Marr was crying like the big baby he is, so he is going to be the squeaky wheel. That means 30 points this week. James Cook getting goal line carries now makes him a Top 5 RB. I have a sneaky feeling with Pacheco out, Kelce is going to reemerge after being very quiet the last two weeks. My team is too beat up. Sounds like KW3 will be out at least another week. Amon-Ra is not 100%. I can't even pick up a replacement for Kupp because the Rams are dragging their feet placing him on IR! Come on! Paul, enjoy this nice write-up anf win this week. My one year moratorium on talking trash to you after Kandi passed away will be over the next time we play.
Justin vs. Jordan
Jordan needs a win desperately. Too bad he won't get it this week. Justin's team is shaping up to be dominant. Henry will only get stronger as the season goes on. Conner has been elite. Rice is going to be even more active with Pacheco out. JK is a league winner. His only weakness is TE. I hate to see it. Anyone but Justin. Please. It's going to be a long season for the Pee-man trusting Jaylen as his QB.
Steve vs Gary
Speaking of long seasons, it is going to be rough for Steve moving forward. You know it is bad when you are picking up Kareem Hunt in hopes he can show glimpses of his past Chiefs production. It ain't happening. Hunt is old and busted. Just like Steve. The Tua injury just wrecks any chance of being competitive this season. Tyreek may not be injured physically, but he is personally having to play with Skylar Thompson. The wins will be far and few for Gary, so this week will be Gary's superbowl. These two are destined to me in the Crapper playoff.
David vs Linda
It's a new era in the League. The preenial loser of the league the first 8 season has turned things around the past two. The reigning champion is 2-0 facing another 2-0 team. While the Tua injury devastates Steve, it's a boon for Linda as Achane is dominating the touches and production. As long as Achane can stay healthy, Linda is on the train to happy town. So far this season, Tank Dell has been Stank Dell. For David to have a chance, it has to be a Dell week in Minneapolis. You are never truly out of a matchup as long as you have Josh Stallion playing. Still, I think Linda has the edge with Kittle feasting with Deebo and CMC hurt.
Nick vs Ashlyn
This year's free square, Ashlyn faces PhatNick. Nick powered past Travis last week with the 2nd highest points. It was quite the surprise without Jordan Love, but Baker has been cooking in 2024. What a difference an OC makes in New Orleans. Kamara looks reborn. JT should play all four quarters against Chicago. The game should remain in positive run script versus Chicago who has a great secondary. LaPorta has been a big surprise on the bad side. He can't be help down for a third week, can he? Ashlyn is so dejected she didn't even try to make any waiver wire moves. I will have to encourage her. Too soon to throw in the towel.
Cory vs Travis
The new baby has really hurt Travis' time for fantasy. He's always been terrible, but it doesn't look like he is even looking at his team this year. What good is an IR slot if you don't use it? With Mixon and Deebo hurt, he is running out of bench space with 5 players unlikely to play this week. Hopefully, he is getting joy from his newborn because there is no joy on his roster. Cory is going to be the biggest 3-0 fraud in the BBB history. It will be fun to watch his fall as the season continues.
Projected Winners:
Paul
Justin
Gary
Linda
Nick
Cory
