Week 17

Caesar (Gary): Welcome, welcome, welcome to the final week of the BBB Games! It's all come down to this moment when we find out who will emerge as the Victor of the 9th Annual BBB Games. Are you excited?!

Claudius (Paul): That's not the only thing we will find out.

Caesar (Gary): Yes, yes. I know. We will also find out who will be sitting on the Crapper during next year's Live Draft.

Claudius (Paul): You've been there before.

Caesar (Gary): Indeed. We'll take a look later to see what my odds are of sitting on it once again. For now, let's take a look at the final Power Rankings before the finale. After tough loses in the semifinals, Justin and Steve drop down two spots as they battle for 3rd and 4th place. Linda continues who meteoric rise to #2 in the rankings as she prepares to face the #1 team in the finals. This is the second year a team from the Broads division squeaks in to the playoffs with a losing record and now has a chance for the BBB Belt.

Power Rankings:

  1. Jordan

  2. Linda (+2)

  3. Justin (-2)

  4. Steve (-2)

  5. Paul

  6. Tracy (+2)

  7. Dana (+2)

  8. Travis (+2)

  9. James (-3)

  10. David (-3)

  11. Ashlyn

  12. Gary

Claudius (Paul): Just goes to show that fantasy football is all about luck.

Caesar (Gary): Now, now. It's not all luck, but it does have a huge impact when untimely injuries or coaching changes happen during the season.

Claudius (Paul): Nice to see the Commissioner continues to fall.

Caesar (Gary): Yes. He made the ultimate sacrifice to keep Dana off the Crapper. Let's take a look at the final matchups for the BBB Bowl and the Crapper Bowl.

Claudius (Paul): Do you think Linda has any chance?

Caesar (Gary): No. But we didn't think she had a chance to make it this far, either. Jordan finally gets the easy matchup he needs to finally win the BBB Belt. He had a disappointing loss during his rookie season. Now, after four season, he makes his second appearance in the Championship.

Claudius (Paul): Pretty impressive.

Caesar (Gary): After the blowout victory against Steve, Jordan now has a 65.02-point lead for the Total Points trophy. It would take a colossal collapse for Jordan not to win his second Total Points trophy.

Claudius (Paul): And he was only 9 points short last year when the Bengals/Bills game got canceled.

Caesar (Gary): Looking at the matchup with Linda, he has the advantage at almost every position. The Commissioner may have gifted Tua to Linda, but Tua faces the Ravens which is a horrible matchup. CMC remains dominant as the player on most teams in the championship playoffs.

Claudius (Paul): He needs to send Dana some flowers or something for declining his trade offer earlier in the season.

Caesar (Gary): Jordan did take a minor hit with Pacheco out with a concussion. I doubt he will be available. He still has Kamara as his RB2 and can flex Garrett Wilson or Dionte Johnson if Stevenson is unavailable.

Claudius (Paul): Linda is just happy to be in the Championship.

Caesar (Gary): Kyreen has been her anchor, but she will need much more than Kyreen can deliver. Lamb has a great matchup versus the Lions. We saw what Amari Cooper just did, so you never know. Lamb has the potential to take Linda to the promised land. We saw it last year when the Commissioner was stunned by Mike Evans' 55+ point game.

Claudius (Paul): It was glorious.

Caesar (Gary): Now to the Crapper Bowl where I face Ashlyn. If Mahomes plays like crap like last week, I am in trouble. But I like Mahomes to bounce back against the Bengals at home. Gibbs alone should outscore both Ashlyn's running backs combined.

Claudius (Paul): Yeah, but her wide receivers are better than yours.

Caesar (Gary): That is true. The verdict is in with Judge Jeudy. He sucks. I need Godwin's performance last week to be an anomaly.

Claudius (Paul): Having two Seattle wide receivers against the Steeler's defense isn't optimal.

Caesar (Gary): Desperate times call for desperate measures. It's going to be close. Both our teams suck.

Claudius (Paul): We know who the Commissioner wants to see sitting on the Crapper.

Caesar (Gary): Yes we do. He made that very clear during last year's Live Draft movie. That's all for this week and for this season. It's been quite the journey to see who will be the Victor of the 9th Annual BBB Games! Thanks for taking the time to spend with us as we've reviewed each week's matchups. May the odds be ever in your favor. Bye.

Claudius (Paul): Bye. Bye.
