Situation
CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK! We finally made it! What a great season it has been through all the twists and turns, uncertainty, and chaos. Two teams have emerged to lay claim to the Belt. On one side is a team which has dominated the League since joining this year. They have made epic trades and have been tops in points. The other...a pretender who is lucky to be in this situation. No matter. It's Week 16. The ultimate 1 week showdown where anything can and will happen. Who will have a player get injured early? Who will have an unexpected blowup performance? This is why we play this maddening game where more often than not we are left cursing and questioning our sanity. Good luck to Jordan and Travis, respectively, as they make their final roster decisions.
Good luck to Paul and Jordan on the final battle to see who will claim the Total Points Trophy. It is very close this year with Paul just 13.56 points behind.
Good luck to David and Gary to see which team can suck the suckiest.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were created through Him, and apart from Him not one thing was created that has been created. Life was in Him, and that life was the light of men. That light shines in the darkness, yet the darkness did not overcome it.
There was a man named John who was sent from God. He came as a witness to testify about the light, so that all might believe through him. He was not the light, but he came to testify about the light. The true light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.
He was in the world, and the world was created through Him, yet the world did not receive Him. But to all who did receive Him, He gave them the right to be children of God, to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood, or of the will of the flesh, or of the will of man, but of God.
The Word became flesh and took up residence among us. We observed His glory, the glory as the One and Only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:1-14
This is the meaning of Christmas. My wish for each of you is to know and experience His grace. We all fall short of God's standard for our thoughts, actions, and words, but thanks be to God He loves us enough He sent us His one and only Son, Jesus Christ that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16).
Enough preaching. Onto the final matchups of the year.

CHAMPIONSHIP PLAYOFF
(#2) Just Get Healthy vs (#4) Hays Blaze
Jordan is at it again. Benching his entire team so Travis can't see what the projections look like. Let me give you a hint. Jordan is a HUGE favorite! That's even before he picks up a TE to play since Ebron is questionable. If Davante Adams can prevent Travis from wearing the Belt then that trade was well worth it.
Even with the lopsided lineups, Travis' team does have some nice matchups. Chubb vs Jets. Woah Nelly! The Steelers D looks more like a turnstile than a steel curtain these days, so JT should have a good game. The GB vs TEN game should be high scoring which is good for Rodgers. Gronk vs Detroit secondary? Oh please. If Alex Smith returns to dump it off to McKissic 10 times, Travis has a decent shot at shocking the League.
My heart wants Jordan to win it, but I know the fantasy gods and 2020 just won't have that happen.
(#1) Check Out My Lightsaber vs (#3) Its On Like Donkey Kong
Not the matchup timing either hoped for. Instead of battling for the Belt, Paul and Tracy get to battle for the 3rd place scraps. They've both had great years and kicked my butt. I am rooting for Paul. He usually doesn't win much, so I am happy for him this year. It will be fun again next year when the three of us battle once more. This week, Paul picked up Salvon Ahmed and Tracy picked up Benny Snail. If Salvon starts this week, I like Paul's pick-up better. Let's go, Paul! Kick Tracy's arse!
CONSOLATION PLAYOFF
(#5) Underestim8ed vs (#6) Dark Lord Commissioner
Can Linda finish strong for a change? We will see. We face off for the 5th place cash prize. I made a couple waiver moves to improve my odds. Hollywood Brown has been better the past four weeks, so I will take a shot on him. If I am going to have a chance, I will need Jeff Wilson to start and not reinjure himself. It's a longshot.
With Brees back helping Kamara, Linda's team is primed and ready. Tannehill to AJ Brown stack is easy pickings with the defenses keyed on Henry. Cole Beasley is a PPR machine. It's been a mediocre season for me, so it is only fair that I have a mediocre 6th place finish.
(#7) EW Black vs (#8) The Jedi Master
The Russell League regular season champion co-managers face off in a meaningless game. Just their own pride left to see which of these two has a better year. No question who the better fantasy football player is and it's not my brother. Fantasy football is dominated by nerds like Justin and me. Yes Justin. You are a nerd, too. Stop denying it.
CRAPPER PLAYOFF
(#9) Mother Tucker vs (#11) Rolling Dunder
Dana is off the Crapper, so that is all she cares about. I doubt she even looks at the matchup this week as we spend a nice week in Gatlinburg with her mother, older sister, brother-in-law, and our family, minus Daniel. She is in her happy place at least until the Steelers play again and lose.
(#10) Roodiculous vs (#12) King of the Crapper
Ah, the infamous Crapper Championship. Both of these two have sat on it before. One will sit on it again. The easy money is on David. If he does sit on the Crapper, I am sure he will make it entertaining for the rest of us.
