Week 15 Post-Game Update

Hi Ho! Oh no! Dana and Steve are in the Crapper Bowl. If Dana has to sit on the Crapper next draft, I may not survive seeing it. We are at Defcon 5. Dana forgot to put Higgins back in her lineup, but it wouldn't have mattered. She got blown out by Travis with a score of 131.74 to 101.08. Bam Knight turned into Bust Knight. Belichick did his usual lockdown of the opponent's top threat. Adams could only muster four catches for 28 yards. Awful. Pierce got goosed in a weird game that saw most of the Colts' points come from their defense.

Steve will join Dana after Linda pulled off back-to-back victories over him. This matchup wasn't close, either. Linda's teams seem to suck all year until the post-season, where they produce one good game to keep her off the Crapper. Her Zay Jones pick up a couple of weeks ago came in clutch. He has been on a tear, scoring another 3 TDs this week. It just goes to show you can never stop working the waiver wire. Another waiver-wire gem she acquired was Latavius Murray, who somehow rushed for over 100 and a TD. Waddle returned to his stud status going over 100 yards and TD himself, while Burrow buried Schroeder with 4 TDs. The points to win were on Steve's bench. Cousins went crazy in the 2nd half miraculous, record-setting comeback against the Colts, scoring 44.4 points, while Herbert couldn't even break 10 points. Steve rode the hot hand with Christian Watson, but as expected, he regressed to the mean with no TDs scored. In hindsight, it would have been difficult to change before the games started. Steve and Dana have a bye week to overthink their starting lineups before facing off in the Week 17 Crapper Bowl.

Ashlyn's Cinderella season continues with the upset over 3x Champion Justin. Her excitement was quickly extinguished when she heard that Hurts is hurt and will likely miss the rest of the fantasy season. If true, that is a huge blow to her chances of getting past Jordan's juggernauts. She has to figure out which waiver wire QB she wants to pick up. Justin's chances were dashed when JT was injured early, and the Bills D pooped their pants against the Tua. Justin's team is the classic example of why you have to have a Top 5 QB to win now in fantasy. Rodgers is washed, and Mac Jones is a poser. I know the pain. I, too, am struggling to find a QB I can trust. They've been hard to come by this season.

I knew it was an uphill battle for David to pull off the upset over Gary. Gary is a prime example of having a top QB carrying your team. The Houston game script did not go to plan, as the Texans have found some fight in the last two weeks. They've now played both the Cowboys and Chiefs competitively. This does not bode well for my strategy of starting the Titans' DST against them next week. When there is a neutral game script, McKinnon is favored over Pacheco. While some of us struggle to find one good QB to start, Gary and Larry have two. Lawrence has come into his own. The next generation ascends while the old farts Rodgers and Brady descend. While David's championship run comes to an end, he made a lot of good moves during the season to stay competitive. Things might have turned out differently if Breece Hall didn't get injured.

The final four are set with Ashlyn vs Jordan and Gary vs the Kommishioner. The odds are we will have a first-time BBB Champion this season. Jordan is still the favorite to emerge victorious.
