Week 15

Caesar (Gary): Welcome, welcome, welcome to Week 15 of the BBB Games, where we look at this week's matchups and the current Power Rankings. This week's edition is a little late, but better late than never. It's playoff time! After a thrilling finish to the Week 14 games, Justin and Steve emerged with the #1 and #2 seeds to get a bye this week. After a disappointing loss to the Commissioner, David was knocked out of contention for the Belt. At least the Commissioner and him are safe from the Crapper.

Claudius (Paul): That's not what I heard.

Caesar (Gary): Oh, that's right. The Commissioner will sit on the Crapper in Dana's place in the event she finishes last since he has managed her team after she was demoralized early in the season. The Commissioner is so magnanimous.

Claudius (Paul): And a fantasy loser.

Caesar (Gary): I know we all hated to see him miss the playoffs.

Claudius (Paul): Sucks to suck.

Caesar (Gary): Indeed. I can't say anything. My fantasy season was abominable. I will be lucky if I am not on the Crapper again.

Claudius (Paul): Oh you know you love it.

Caesar (Gary): Let's take a look at the Power Rankings heading into the first week of the playoffs.

Power Rankings:

  1. Justin (+1)

  2. Jordan (-1)

  3. Steve (+1)

  4. Paul (-1)

  5. James (+1)

  6. David (-1)

  7. Linda

  8. Tracy

  9. Dana

  10. Ashlyn

  11. Gary

  12. Travis

Claudius (Paul): Justin's back on top once again.

Caesar (Gary): Yes, he is primed to win his 4th BBB Belt. Truly amazing. There's no doubt who the best in the League is. The Commissioner used to think he was, but the results are clear. Justin trumps the Commissioner.

Claudius (Paul): What about Total Points? You know the Commissioner will bring up that he has won the Total Points trophy 4 times.

Caesar (Gary): That's true. But the Belt is the prize everyone wants. Speaking of the Belt, we are looking forward to seeing what the new Belt will look like. Have you heard anything?

Claudius (Paul): Nope. Guess we might have to wait until next year's live draft for the unveiling.

Caesar (Gary): Well, we know the Commissioner will not disappoint. So let's take a look at the matchups to see who is favored to reach the semi-finals and who is projected for the Crapper Bowl. Paul, how are you feeling about your matchup with Lucky Linda?

Claudius (Paul): Not good, Gary.

Caesar (Gary): I can see why. Linda has Kyren and Moss primed for a Championship run. It's all about peaking at the right time. It really comes down to Sam Howell. He has been hot or cold all season. With Kyren and Moss dominating their backfields and the Chiefs DST facing the Patriots who cannot score, it looks like Linda leads in the projections. Paul's team is no pushover. If Lamar has another boom game this week, it could come down to whether Gay makes or misses his kicks. Unfortunately for Paul, the edge goes to Linda.

Claudius (Paul): We will see.

Caesar (Gary): The other matchup isn't so close. Jordan faces Tracy (Rest in Peace). Tracy's team is lucky to be in the playoffs after finishing with a losing record. It's TBD if Tyreek will play this week. No Tyreek, no Tua upside especially against the Jets. The Commissioner picked up Kyler Murray in a desperation move hoping the injuries to the 49ers DST would allow Kyler to have a good game. It's a hail-mary since Jordan's team is better at every position.

Claudius (Paul): Jordan has been close before. Maybe he can finally achieve what he has long desired...the BBB Belt.

Caesar (Gary): In the Crapper Playoff, the Commissioner gets another chance to keep Dana and thus himself off the Crapper. The matchup looks good against me. The Chiefs offense is still sputtering. Mahomes is losing his cool. The projections like Love to have a bounce-back game against the Bucs. Bijan and Najee have good matchups, but Ekeler and Gibbs have better. With Zeke feasting while Rhamondre is out, I see an upset coming. Yes, I am calling it. I will beat Dana, aka the Commissioner, to send them to the Crapper Bowl.

Claudius (Paul): Pretty bold.

Caesar (Gary): In our final matchup, Travis faces Ashlyn. It seems the Commissioner's plan has come to fruition. He said he wanted the defending BBB Champion to sit on the Crapper and she is one game away. The only thing standing in the way is Travis. James Cook and Deebo have been on fire. However, Stafford showed last week that he can still get it done for his fantasy owners. This week he has a 5-star matchup versus Washington. The Lions DST hasn't been too good and the Broncos have turned things around. Ashlyn's Falcons have a much better matchup versus the Panthers. It looks like the Commissioner will not get his wish this year as we project Ashlyn to win against Travis.

Claudius (Paul): Screw the Commissioner.

Caesar (Gary): Well, that's all for this week. May the odds be ever in your favor during the Playoffs. Bye.

Claudius (Paul): Bye. Bye.
