Hi Ho! What a finish to the regular season. Steve loses to the worst team in the League. Ashlyn beats the best team in the League. David wins another close game to relegate his mother to the Broads division. Conner scores 23.4 points to push Paul up to 6th in points, while Steve drops to 8th in points...again. With the three ladies back in the Broads division, there they shall remain from now on. We will relegate one team each year from Bros to Broads. This is a mercy rule for my brother. If I didn't make the change, he would never leave the Broads. He'll have one more year in Broads next year before moving back up to the Bros division. You're welcome, bro! What is family for?
With Ashlyn earning the final Championship playoff spot, Steve remains the only team in the League never to have made the Championship playoffs. Next year will be the year. Jinx? With seeding based on points, Jordan and I get the bye as the #1 and #2 scoring teams. Even after a monster points week for me to finish the regular season, I still trail Jordan by 52.40 points. With only two weeks left, it will take a miracle to snatch the Total Points Trophy away. Ashlyn will face Justin, and Gary will face David in the quarterfinals.
In the Consolation bracket, Paul and Tracy escaped the Crapper playoff by being the two highest-scoring teams not to finish in the top 2 of their divisions. They both get the bye, so they cannot finish last. As for the bottom four, Dana will face off against Travis, while Steve faces Linda in a rematch. They split their regular season with Steve beating Linda in week 1, but Linda gets her revenge by beating Steve this week to put him in the Crapper with her.
It was a great regular season with a lot of drama to close. While Ashlyn is feeling euphoric, I am sure my brother is feeling bitterness once again. Congrats again to Jordan, Gary, Ashlyn, Justin, David, and yours truly for making the Championship playoffs. Three Tuckers made it out of four. Not bad. We will see if one of us can emerge victorious. I'm still on the hot seat. If Dana finishes last, you'll need to find a new commissioner because I will be a dead man.
