Caesar (Gary): Welcome, welcome, welcome to Week 14 of the BBB Games, where we look at this week's matchups and the current Power Rankings. We've come to the final week of the regular season. While Steve, Jordan, and Tracy have secured there Championship playoff spots, three spots remain to be decided. Paul, you are looking good leading the Beards division, but you haven't clinched your playoff spot. How are you feeling?
Claudius (Paul): Not good, Gary. Justin's team is smoking hot and the Commissioner tanked his team so David is going to crush him this week. If that happens, I don't think I make it.
Caesar (Gary): It's complicated, but I think you are right. In that scenario, you would all three be 10-4. The head-to-head would be tied with Justin 1-1, but he has you on points. You also split your head-to-head with David and he also has a points advantage. At least in this scenario, the Commissioner gets relegated.
Claudius (Paul): Who cares! I want a chance at the Belt.
Caesar (Gary): I guess for once you will have to be routing for the Commissioner to win then. You never know how these things will turn out. In the Broads division, it comes down to Dana or Linda for the final Championship playoff position. Ashlyn is on the losing end of the tiebreakers. Dana needs Steve to beat Linda in a close matchup this week. After the Commissioner sabotaged his team trading her his good players, she should have no issues beating Ashlyn.
Claudius (Paul): News is Dana won't be playing anymore in the League.
Caesar (Gary): Yes, the Commissioner announced the sad news in his weekly address. It's a shame since we all love Dana here in the BBB League. Hopefully, the new members next season will increase the League's competitiveness and fun factor. With Justin primed for his 4th BBB Belt, we need more competition for him.
Claudius (Paul): That is true. I'm not sure the Commissioner's ego could take Justin winning his 4th Belt. He likes to think he is the best fantasy football player in the League.
Caesar (Gary): Well the results say otherwise. Should we take a closer look into the key match-ups.
Claudius (Paul): We shall.
Caesar (Gary): David made an excellent waiver wire move picking up the Texans DST who face the Jets. That was a huge miss by the Commissioner to block that. The Texans can easily get 20+ points this week which would almost certainly give David the win. David has Allen facing the Chiefs D who just got lit up by Love. This is a must win game for the Bills, so we like Allen to have a MVP level game. Oh, do you see what I see, Paul.
Claudius (Paul): The ghost of last year's Championship game that haunts the Commissioner?
Caesar (Gary): Yes. In a must-win game, the Commissioner has to face Mike Evans, again! We all remember the 50+ points Evans scored to stop the Commissioner from winning his 3rd BBB Belt. Against Atlanta, Evans could do it again. The only disadvantage David has over the Commissioner is at TE. So, Paul, it looks like your destiny is in your hands to beat Justin. If you do, then Justin and you will deny David who has played one of his best seasons.
Claudius (Paul): Would hate to see it.
Caesar (Gary): Linda's matchup vs Steve is close. The prognosticators have Linda with the advantage. It all depends on which Dobbs shows up. Dana dropping Dobbs may come back to bite her in the butt if he has a good game to help Linda beat Steve. It was a double whammy since she dropped him for Pickett in a homer move. Pickett got injured early to add salt to the wound.
Claudius (Paul): So if she finishes in last, will she still have to sit on the Crapper?
Caesar (Gary): We'll leave that decision up to the Commissioner, if he is still alive. Linda's team got a huge surge in power with Moss and Kyren returning as starters. However, Kyren faces the Ravens and Moss didn't play well last week. We still like Linda to finish strong to make a rare appearance in the BBB Championship playoffs.
Claudius (Paul): That would be awesome.
