It's crunch time! My team needs Viagra to get up for this week's matchup versus Jordan. Justin, Steve, Gary, and Ashlyn have all been eliminated from the Championship Playoffs. Linda, David, and Cody have secured their place. For the rest of us, there is much on the line in Week 13. No teams are on bye, so there is no excuse that you lost because your best players were off. Ashlyn and Gary have secured their place in the Crapper Playoff. Who is going to join them? Let's get into the scenarios.
Beards Division
My chances diminished significantly this week because no one else thought to pick up the Cowboys' DST against the Giants. That left Jordan to swoop in and grab them. SMH. Jordan doesn't miss the easy layups. I am a glutton for punishment, so I will stick with the Chiefs against the Raiders. Please Spags! Don't let me down again. Paul hasn't secured his place in the Championship playoffs yet. Let's look at the scenarios.
Scenario 1: Most Likely
I lose to Jordan. Paul and Jordan are IN, and I am OUT.
Scenario 2:
I beat Jordan and Paul beats Justin. Paul is IN and we move on to Week 14 to decide if it will be Jordan or me for 2nd place.
Scenario 3: Least Likely
I beat Jordan, and Paul loses to Justin. Things get more interesting. It will come down to Week 14 to decide which two teams get in.
Week 14 standings
If Paul loses to Jordan and I beat Justin in Week 14, we will have a three-way tie. The tie-breaker reverts to Total Points where Jordan and I both lead Paul.
Bros
Not much to see here. Steve is just trying to stay out of the Crapper Playoff. He is rooting for Nick to beat Travis.
Scenario 1:
If Travis loses, his low Total Points ensure he is in the Bottom Four for the Crapper Playoff.
Scenario 2:
If Travis wins, then it is onto Week 14 to see if Travis can secure 2nd place in Broads.
If he does, that leaves Nick and Steve battling for the 4th spot. Less than 2 points separate them on seeding. Bottom four seeds make the Crapper Playoff.
Broads
Cody is coasting to the Championship while Nick and Travis duke it out to see who finishes 2nd. The scenarios are simple.
Scenario 1:
Nick beats Travis. Game over. Nick finishes 2nd. Travis goes to the Crapper Playoff.
Scenario 2:
Travis beats Nick. Nick questions his life choices. Nick would still hold the Total Points tie-breaker over Travis, so Travis has to win out and Nick lose out.
