Week 11

Caesar (Gary): Welcome, welcome, welcome to Week 11 of the BBB Games, where we look at this week's matchups and the current Power Rankings. We've come to the final week before the second divisional series. The Beards division continues to be a dogfight. Paul and James continue to lead the League with 8-2 records followed closely by David and Justin at 7-3. The Beards Division is for the Best of the Best in the League. It has lived up to its reputation this year. According to FantasyPros, the top 4 teams in the League are all in the Beards division. It will be a shame that two of the four teams will not make the Championship Playoff.

Claudius (Paul): It's a messed up system.

Caesar (Gary): Well Paul, if the Commissioner hadn't set up the regulation system, some teams would never have a chance at the BBB Belt. Look at Ashlyn last year.

Claudius (Paul): I guess that's true. Still doesn't make it fair.

Caesar (Gary): No, but it does make it more fun for everyone. Isn't that why we are here? To have fun?

Claudius (Paul): No. We are here to beat the Commissioner.

Caesar (Gary): Indeed. The easy part of the Commissioner's schedule is over. Now, he has a brutal four-game stretch against the best teams in the League. This week, he faces the Broads division leader, Steve. Rumor has it there is a side bet between Steve and the Commissioner for next year's League dues. That means Steve feels confident his team has a chance to emerge victorious.

Claudius (Paul): I think the Commissioner is nervous.

Caesar (Gary): Why is that, Paul?

Claudius (Paul): He traded Pollard, Herbert, and Mitchell for ETN and Love.

Caesar (Gary): Well. Pollard has been a disappointment, for sure. It's a high price to pay for ETN though. It would be a shame if it didn't pan out for the Commissioner. It means the Commissioner will be rolling with Dobbs at QB. While the overall starter talent favors the Commissioner, the matchups favor Steve. Nacua gets a boost with Stafford back. Logan Thomas and Brian Robinson face the Giants who are hardly better than a JV team. Goff plays at home vs the Bears, and Tyreek gets the Raiders fresh off the bye. It doesn't get much better than that. Meanwhile, Dobbs faces an emerging Broncos D, Diggs faces the Jets D, and the Browns D has to play with an unknown rookie QB.

Claudius (Paul): Kick his ass, Steve!

Caesar (Gary): We predict he will officially clinch his ticket to the BBB Championship Playoff. That would leave the three ladies fighting for the final ticket from the Broads division. Dana faces Tracy's team which is under conservatorship by the Commissioner. It will be hard for Harris to run on the Browns D, but that's what the Steelers do. Dana will need a big game in a high-scoring matchup vs the Dolphins to win this matchup. Tracy's team is back to full strength with Conner back and Kupp returning from the bye.

Linda faces the #1 team in the League in the Power Rankings. Even with Lamar underperforming lately, Paul's team keeps racking up the wins putting pressure on the Commissioner. Linda has been surging from Cee Dee Lamb's record performances over the past 3 weeks. Unfortunately for her, Burrow faces the brutal Baltimore D. If anyone can overcome that matchup, it's Burrow, but if he does that means Chase will be the beneficiary, which helps Paul. I like Paul's team to put an end to Linda's streak.

Claudius (Paul): I hope so.

Caesar (Gary): Ashlyn is facing Jordan. She is facing a bye-polypse this week with five players on bye. She will need Pollard to finally break out this week. He wasn't against the Giants so he probably won't be against the Panthers. Maybe a change in fantasy teams changes things. With so many players on bye, she must choose between Gibson and Mitchell. She needs to go for the upside against Jordan. In the end, it won't matter. Jordan has the better team. The Commissioner just set the trap with the trade to ensure she sits on the Crapper.

Claudius (Paul): You can never trust the Commissioner.

Caesar (Gary): That's a true statement. However, Travis seems like the team destined to sit on the Crapper. He would join his opponent, David, as a two-time Crapper sitter. David took a tough loss last week when the Bills imploded. It doesn't get more accessible for the Bills this week facing the Jets D. The Giants offense is horrible, crushing Barkley. Taylor is on bye. Thielen's old man clock has run out. With Fields back for Chicago, we see an upset brewing.

Claudius (Paul): I'm for it.

Caesar (Gary): That leaves the matchup between the hottest team in the League, Justin, vs. Gary. Dak has been on a tear and shows no signs of slowing down. As the months get colder, Henry gets hotter. AJ Brown faces the Chiefs D, but Brown is too much of a beast to be stopped. Once again, Justin looks to come from behind to steam roll the League to another Championship. Can anyone stop him?

Claudius (Paul): Not looking like it.

Caesar (Gary): All that is left for this week's show is to reveal the Power Rankings. Travis drops to the bottom while Paul continues to remain on top.

Power Rankings:

  1. Paul

  2. James

  3. Jordan

  4. Justin (+1)

  5. David (-1)

  6. Steve

  7. Linda (+1)

  8. Tracy (-1)

  9. Dana (+1)

  10. Gary (-1)

  11. Ashlyn (+1)

  12. Travis (-1)

Caesar (Gary): Well, that's all for this week. May the odds be ever in your favor. Bye.

Claudius (Paul): Bye. Bye.
