Week 10

My fellow Leaguemates, while we continue to mourn for our fallen Leaguemate, another Leaguemate has had their own terrible loss. Paul's wife, Candi, lost her battle with cancer. Our thoughts, prayers, and support go to Paul during this difficult time. Make sure to tell those you love how much you appreciate them and care for them.

Paul, I know I speak for the whole League when I say we love you and are here for you. I'm thankful and grateful that this fantasy football League brought us together. I didn't know Candi, but she had to be an angel to put up with you! :) I do know how much you loved her and cherished her. I know the hope we share is that death is not final. You will see each other again.

With some of the NFL's best offenses on bye in Week 10, fantasy points were expected to be down. Expectations were subverted thanks to the Lions/Chargers game. The high-flying, back-and-forth game earned Dana a high score thanks to Keenan Allen's 41+ points. It's a bright spot in an otherwise frustrating season for her. Her weekly breakdown projects her to be 4-6, yet she is a measly 2-8 with little hope of making the Championship playoff.

With only one regular season game until division matchups, the pressure is on to see who will finish in the top 2 of each division. Steve all but locked in his ticket with the win over David. It looked like David had a good chance to come from behind on Monday night, but the Bills offense could not get going against the surging Denver defense. It was a tough loss for David, who fell a game back of Paul and myself. David and Justin lost to both of us in the first divisional round, so the odds are stacked against them, but all four teams are good, and anything can happen in the next four weeks. The Beards division may come down to a tiebreaker, total Points For.

The Bros division teams all lost, so it was a missed opportunity for Tracy and Gary's teams to catch up with Jordan. Jordan still holds a two-game lead and a commanding Total Points advantage over his divisional peers. Travis' team is DOA, averaging 96.81 points per game. I am counting on Travis. Dana has one stipulation for playing in the BBB League... keep her off the Crapper! The fantasy gods have tested her, but Travis could be her get-off-the-Crapper free card. Ashlyn is the backup plan. If both fail, your Commissioner may join Tracy and Candi in the afterlife.

Until next week, may the odds be ever in your favor.
